English Summer

Small tight lives expand.

Frothing over

They pool in the yards,

Exposed like warmed blood

Flushed to the skin.

  1. As you use your blog for your creative outlet via poetry, how does this concern you with publication? Are you interested in publication in a literary journal or magazine? I ask because I write plenty of poetry and fiction, but I am hesitant to post it on a free service as I assume that would potentially detract interest from a publication and potentially simply be plagiarized if a party wanted my work and it was already bouncing about the Internet. If you have any information regarding this, it would be lovely if you could share. Keep up the fascinating work!
